Not sure what your doing on your hunts so here gos..........
Find the roost and set up in their rout of travel use decoys, using decoys can encourage the turkeys to fly down to them if you are within 100 yards of the roost. Also even a bow hunter can stalk get ahead set up and take a gobbler although some think it's to risky, but I say no risk no gain.
I stalked my last and best gobbler for a couple hours this season when he was hened up, even got busted by several jakes, I froze and they went back to eating.
i am hunting just outside woodland park. i just cant seem to get the birds to make any noise at all. Ive tried everything i can think of to locate the birds but like i said they just aren't talking. but the advice is appreciated.
