Not to totally rip on you, but it opens on Sat. and your not really sure what a good shot is? hmmm With that said....I' m sure other guys can give you some help also, but from what I know good shots are 1)Texas hard shot...right up the keester, 2)a bird facing you...shoot right at the base of the neck and 3)a bird broadside...aim a little behind and down a bit from what I call the shoulder. Right where the wing attaches to the body. #1 & #2 might be your best shots, just for the simple fact that on a broadside shot if you miss high or back, you might hit the wing(made of steel) and might deflect your arrow.
