It seems to me Knight is going after the upper middle class(just like the fed tax laws). I hope they make it in todays economy.
Jay, you hit the nail on the head.Knight will either stay small and sell upper end guns or get into the ATM market and compete and become bigger.both will be very hard to do in the worst economy since the great depression.IMHO they could include blue/black synthetic stocks, which makes them a little more affordable and help increase sales some immediately.lets face it Stainless and fluting doesn't make there rifles shoot any better.with all the techno coatings for blued rifles, stainless steel isn't really needed.Knight even applies it to there rifles now, which says something for these coatings IMHO.also light weight break action rifles are what the vast majority of buyers want and not bolts.IMHO Knight missed the boat on break action rifles and it eventually broke them.Knight also has to compete with T/C and CVA in the advertising arena also or fail.they have a big uphill climb and i hope they make it..
