Default Turkey Breeding

I'm almost embarrassed to ask this question after 30 yrs of turkey hunting. My reason, I've been after one bird for 7 days now, when he gobbles on the roost and I call, he moves away after flydown. I know for a fact, he is hened up, in 7 days, I've seen it.

My question, From the get go, how many times will a gobbler breed a hen? I've got one gobbler that I have worked him off the roost, to only have had hens come in and take him away from me.

I know, I know, it's time to move on, but he's like a trophy buck, I want him so bad, but the hens are the problem and it's 3 weeks into our season.

Just this morning, he flew down and went a way from me, I circled to get ahead of him and saw Hens, I diliberately busted them. He kept coming, and the busted hens started talking to him, and went to him, away from me. He gobbled from 6:45 a.m. this morning til 10:30 and I heard the hens fly back down to him and off they went.

Again, how many times will a gobbler breed a hen?

30 plus years of chasing them and I honestyly don't know, all I know is, for 7 strait days they have taken him away from me.
