Are you sure? I've read that APP powder is corrosive in it's unfired form. It's recommended to empty the flask when not being used.

btw..Nobody mentioned T7. So, I thought i'd mention APP.

Water and powder? Like high humidity?

I've noticed a pattern on ML forums. Everybody is an expert.
You raised a good point - I actually do not know about APP because I have not used it enough to be and expert on it.

BP, Pyros, and T7 - it is the burnt powder residue that causes the rusting prombem.

But I do not want to give anybody the impression that T7 is non-corrosive because it is, but far less than BP's or the Pyro's. It is just so easy to take of the residue with windex and a very very light coat of bore protectant...

APP in a flask.... for a long time - that is a bad idea - I do not think it has anything to do with rust or rusting but the ability of APP to suck up moisture and clump and clump and clump.... You would probably have to wash it out with water.
