We have a 2 week mid-December deer season and I've never had a misfire
with Pyrodex P or APP fffg, and I load a rifle for my son to use too.
The muzzles are covered with the tip of a balloon and at night the rifles are
left in a cold hallway.
Sometimes the guns don't get discharged until a week or two after the season
with only the #11 cap being changed.
