so many options, TC venture didn't make my list though...

If I had to do over I'd certainly want my .243win built on a short action, not a long action.

If you wanna spend the $$ and want a lightweight .243, I'd probably go for that Browning A-bolt Ti.

Depends on the use for this rifle, varmints, long range, deer and coyotes, most sights have a search option for calibers, with some spec comparisons you can find out whether or not they're built on a short action or long action.

If you're looking for a handy 243 to deer hunt and shoot a coyote, then I'd avoid buying a varmint style 243 weight over 9lbs with a 26" barrel.

Give us some more info and we can probably narrow it down for you.
