I tried Mink Oil and even Snow Seal (as I used to water proof my woods boots with the stuff) and I never got as good a results as I did with moose milk. I even tried a hand cleaner that was once claimed as a great patch lube. It worked.. great ???? Well it worked. At least no fouling was on my fingers when I loaded and cleaned the rifle..
