I think i agree with this statement. I cannot comment about mag primer, because i have never used one in my speed breech, but it makes sense to me. As far as ventliners go, i have them installed in some of my plugs, and i have other plugs without. The plugs i have without ventliners, are just as reliable igniting BH, as the plugs with. A ventliner isn't what makes a plug work with BH; it is the plug geometry that makes for success or failure.
