Default A Day of Shooting

Today I wanted to finalize my .54 perc for bear hunting and double check my TC Bone Collector as a back up in case I drop the .54 while hunting. Needless to say I'm very happy with the .54. My second shot I knew was off. Silly hair trigger! The fourth and fifth shot was because of the dirty barrel. I've noticed that with this GM barrel. First three are gold and after that they go high and to the left or right. Which is fine, all you should need is one maybe two shots. Secondly I shot my TC BC. Man oh man is the trigger different the first label shots was just me getting use to the gun again since last fall. For some reason the bullets didn't like the diamond. I know it was just me shaking. Going from a 1x scope and double set triggers to a Nikon Omega and 3lb trigger can mess a guy up. I know if i just brought out the bc all would be in or around the diamond. I thought my bullet line was pretty cool though. Never done that before. Also the recoil was more on my inline then sidelock. So I've now learned not to bring both guns out on the same day. With these groups I thought I was ready for spring bear. Which I was until I got home......I had my .54 leaning against my door frame in the gun room and my dad came around the corner and KNOCKED it down. CRASH!!! Luckly me poor dog took the blunt of the fall from the barrel, but the scope did hit the floor. So now I get to see how well TC Scopes are built. I just pray that it isn't off by much and i have one more weekend before bear season. So it should work out ok unless the scope is FUBAR.
