saturday evening i shot a nice 8pt that was quartering away but i guess i should' ve placed the shot a little farther back because it hit the deer in what i thought was a good spot i went in one side and stuck in the other shoulder and the deer ran across the field and stopped and i thought it was going down cause it was wobbling but it just walked slowly in the woods and we waited for about 30 min to an hour and then went in to blood trail it and we trailed it for about 150 yards and then the blood quit and while we was tracking the deer we heard a deer blow in the woods and it mite have been him but i' m not sure so that was the last blood drop up next to a tree top where they had logged and we could not find anything else of the deer and i know he died because my arrow was still in him and we never found the arrow so what do you guys think how could this deer have made it that far i want to hear you guys oppinion.
