I've not used one of these scopes on a muzzle loader, but I've used them on a regular rifle, and I'm not a big fan. For me, I'd prefer to just holdover, and I don't like the look of the reticles. The other thing I've noticed is each load and rifle is different, so it doesn't always match up with the marks like you should. I'm just not a big fan, and the last few scopes I've purchased have all been duplex reticles. I much prefer the duplex, or even better I like mil dots.
