Glad you like the PT's. They are an accurate bullet and you do not bust a vein in the forehead seating them with the crush rib sabot. I have shot some of my best groups on paper with them but never got the opportunity to shoot any deer with them. I gave a friend some of the 300gr PT's at the range last Saturday and he loved how they grouped.
Let us know how they work out when you get her scoped up. What scope are you going with?
I'm experimenting with scopes. I want to try a fixed scopes. I'd rather not spend a bunch of money on my experiment. So, I ordered a Simmons Pro Diamond 4x32. I'll hunt this spring/summer for coyotes to see how it does.
If it works out i'll buy a good fixed scope. If it doesn't i'll buy a good 3x9. The Simmons was $40 at Natchez, so i'm not out much if it doesn't work.
