Trouble with corn!!
The farm where I hunt is planted mostly in corn. Every year it is the same thing, very few deer sightings until the corn is cut. This year I am finding the same, no deer sign on the ridge that the crops border. However I have found sign such as rubs and droppings inside the woodline near these fields. This sign is probably not more than 40 yards from the standing corn.
Are the deer living in the corn day and night, coming out only on occasion? Should I be hunting near the corn in the morning instead of just evenings. Or will this just screw things up worse? Any suggestions would be helpfull in how to hunt this situation.
