This hunt was back in 06 and took place in North West Ontario. The calf I spotted sleeping with it's mother on the edge of a lake and put a long 1 mile stock on it. When I got within gun range they stood up and I put a round into the calf dropping it in it's tracks. The Buck I shot in a clear cut with a muzzle loader.
