BH is a progressive burning powder so it really is a natural for heavier bullets. With 120 grains of T7-2f my velocities with the 300 grain bullet drop back to an ave. of 1900 fps - no big deal but you can that the BH moves them along a little better.
Also remember these tabels are approximations - you will have to to the shooting to verify. In these tables I left the elevation @ 3000 ft and the Temp @ 50* both of these can change the flight path a bit also.
13/1400 fps & 12/1300 fpe @ 200 are real nice numbers to be dealing with at that range... but then again the 275 is not that far behind....
I agree with you. I think either bullet will do the job on whitetails with no problem whatsoever. I'm looking forward to the weather giving a break here so that I can get out and see what they will do at 200+ yards. Good data that you have given me, thanks.
