They have a reputation of being over built - I like that, but a little too heavy for a walking stick for me !

I like the synthetic stock and the stainless barrel.

I like the extractor.

I like the safety.

I like the idea of bases machined into the reciever, but it appears that you are only able to attach the rings in one "spot".

I do not like a floorplate, I prefer a detachable magazine.

I always get a basic trigger job then set at 3lbs. & I have the barrel hand lapped (unless already done by manufacturer) and I have the recoil pad replaced with a Pachmyr Delecerator pad (except on my .22LR & my .17 HMR - of course) on all my new rifles.

Over all, other then "my" preferences, good gun !
