This subject comes up at least once a year and it's always the same thing. One area of the country the USPS is good others it's bad. Same w/UPS, Fed EX ect. It varies by region. For instance:

My area (TN): USPS horrible - UPS Amazing
My parents area (VA): USPS great - UPS horrible
My Grandparent's area (CO): USPS horrible - UPS horrible.

Just like schools, police depts, transit, ect they all vary by location.
