The basics are scout, pattern your turkeys, pattern your shotgun, learn the yelp, cut, get camo and don't let the turkeys see you move. Thats basic but hunting turkeys is all in the details.
Ammo....... that depends on your shotgun and what it shoots best I like Nitro, every one likes something different. Blinds....... I prefer mobility and so don't use them.
