I do not own any Burris scopes but have a hunting partner who uses them and he seems very happy with them. I have looked through a couple and would not hesitate to use one.

Burris is owned by the Beretta Group, so they will most likely be around a long time. My only concern might be Beretta's lousy customer service might somehow rub off on Burris.
