Several years ago I about fainted at the $1,250.00 price tag on the Swarovski spotting scope. I paid the price and I am sure glad I did. I could sell my Swarovski today for a profit on ebay. I love my spotting scope, I did compare it to Leica and Zeiss. I picked the Swarovski because I liked it's focus adjustment better.
Not too many things go up in value over time.
