Yes - bullets! Those big bore hunting air guns actually shoot lead bullets, made specially for them. The small bores like .17/.20/.22/.25 - shoot pellets.
Congrats on the Coyote (Butcher45) It must be great, to call them in using calls you made yourself- and great pics. I too am a big fan of PCP guns. After the rather high initial cost - they are sure cheap to shoot. I have a Air Arms S410 rifle and Bushnell 3200- 4 to 12 scope on it- and it is the most accurate gun of any kind, that I have ever shot.No recoil - amazing trigger - and I get over 30 shots to a fill-plus - the pellets just keep going thru the same hole. The groups are actually kind of boring (in a good way)_ (smile). I shoot JSB heavy- (18.1 grain) pellets and they cost 8.99 for 250. This is the only small bore rifle I shoot any more.
