Would definatly go with 50# @28. Lots of takedown recurves for 150 to 200. Just make sure inserts are installed. Yes nice to have a deticated bow for fishing. That's what I did. As for snap shoot, you can do it with any bow. Just don't pull to full draw.
As for inserts almost all of the recurves ive been looking at have built in threads for a reel.
And how can you snapshoot a compound bow with 75% let off?
