Well I went crow hunting and bagged a squirrel. I setup my homemade decoys and stepped just inside the woods. I had two pairs of crows come in and I shot at one of each pair and missed. They wouldn't quite commit to the decoys, probably because they don't look real enough.

While I was standing there calling, I heard something on the tree about 20 feet behind me. I knew the sound and turned to see a squirrel so I bagged him.

I went to Gander Mountain and bought a couple crow decoys that look very real. Hopefully next weekend I can get the crows to come in for a closer look.
