Butch I use a Trophy Hunter release that they do not make anymore, it is over 20 years old and uses a trigger and ball bearings to release the string, it has a wrist strap. I love it, the trigger feels just like a gun trigger, it is very smooth and as with shooting a gun if you do it right the release is a total surprise. Personal opinion, if the release you have works and you like it, don' t change. Another words if it isn' t broke, don' t fix it!
