My opinion? I tried it and gave it up. It's just not worth it, if you ask me...
East of I-95 they have crazy, badly written, confusing, blind laws. West of I-95 is wide open with no blind laws.
The free ranging ducks and geese just aren't around in numbers like they used to be. Most of the resident waterfowl stays here, and they are so educated, that they know where to go where it's illegal to hunt.
