i also have a vision and have had 100% success with blackhorn and regular win.209 primers even in very cold temps.it has also been consitantly blow back free.does your plug have a flat face?what primers were used when you had problems.did you have much blowback.i've been reading all of these breechplug threads with great interest and i allways like to here whats been working or not working for folks.i don't know diddlyor squat(or maybe i do semi ) about the science of muzzleloader breech plugs but if my guns are blowback free i have never had a problem igniting BH209 as long as the plug is fairly clean........karl
