I am going to try it. I got the barrel absolutely spotless before I ever shot it. It took about an hour to get all of the gunk out, but the last two patches were clean when they came out and looking in the bore, it looked like a mirror.
I am sure it will work fine.i can shoot about any bullet i want in my Triumph with the crushed rib sabots and the TEZ's are tack drivers and load well also.
