The Jb's will work wonders, Sabotloader did 100 strokes down his very tight Triumph barrel and now can use mmp-24 sabots with no problem. i shot some full bore conicals out of mine and 30 strokes of JB/oil and it worked wonders.another thing is make sure you removed all that grease or whatever it is T/C puts in new barrels, it's a bear to remove it all.
I am going to try it. I got the barrel absolutely spotless before I ever shot it. It took about an hour to get all of the gunk out, but the last two patches were clean when they came out and looking in the bore, it looked like a mirror.
