Our feeders are are 20 gallon and 32 gallon garbage cans hanging in trees with an American Hunter feeder unit attached. A 32 gallon garbage can holds about 180 pounds of corn. We fill those about every 45 days.

Our feeders are set to run once per day, about 15-30 minutes before sunset. They
are set to feed about 2.5 pounds of corn or beans each time they run.

We do not shoot deer anywhere near the feeders; hogs are pests and we will shoot them wherever they are found.
