Been calling myself deer hunting for the past few weeks, but since Thanksgiving week, the deer have become just about totallly nocturnal. I'm still plugging away between duck hunts though. It's been a strange season to say the least. Tons of whiteoak acorns from trees I've never seen drop before, nocturnal movement even though there is light pressure, no sign of a rut when it's supposed to be prime time, and the latest secondary rut I have ever witnessed in this area.
