You are absolutely correct.... it is HUGE that you get the bore dry before you try to protect it. And as someone said dry patching may not get it done.

This is why I only do the heavy water treatment at the house where I have the things I need to get the job done.

During the season season when I will use Windex and dry patch - that is the reason the Montana X-Treme Bore Conditioner goes in the bore... The Ether Alcohol contained in the product acts as the evaporator.
