Welcome to what I think is the best muzzle loading forum to be found on the net.

I don't own a Knight and never have (trying to rectify that). But I have a number of .50s. In my opinion you can't go wrong with .452 caliber 250 grain Speer Gold Dots/Deep Curls or Hornady XTPs in Harvester H5045SB sabots over anything from 85 to 110 grains of GOEX, Pyrodex, or Triple Seven. My most accurate loads seem to fall in the 85 to 95 grain range with most powders, and that gives you plenty of oomph out to 150 yards.

Is that gun new to you, or have you shot it before?
