Considering you are getting a Nikon Pro Staff with it, I would say that is a pretty good deal if it is in good condition. If $$$ is a factor, I would go for that deal if the pics look good. Make sure you get a pic of the bore if possible.

The older Optimas are decent rifles, not as good as the new version, but they usually are good shooters. It would make a nice first muzzleloader for you.

If $$$ is an issue, keep in mind that even if you get a new Optima for $225, after you put bases, rings and a decent scope on it, you are looking at $350 - $400+.
