I have seen a rusty Hawkins go for as much as $225.00 just so you know. I guess it depends on how bad you want it.

The real problem is the fact the new ones are now so expensive. People think that their rusty old rifles are worth almost what a new on is, and that is just not so. A new Hawkins sells for $500.00-$600.00 and you can not get the big bore anymore.

You could buy that and then throw a Green Mountain Slow twist roundball barrel on it. Make a nice rifle then.
I'll bet I can get it for $30.00,maybe $20.00,so I guess it's worth going after then.
