.22-250 is a classic varmint/predator cartridge...........can't go wrong with that.

I use a .204 40gr V-max or my .243 with 75gr V-max for predators, if I expect long shots on windy days.


I reserve my .17 HMR for varmints only, as a rule.

............not that a well placed shot behind the ear would drop them.
