DL2, you make an excellent point about corresponding with government officials about what we fear, think should be done and so on. This is something I did the first time and have done several times since then...the same response is given we are looking into all matters and considering what is best suited for all parties...we thank you for your concerns...blah,blah, blah...basically a PFOL. I agree though one voice does nothing we need many to crack the egg, however just b/c we vent, discuss, etc in a forum does not make it wrong.

BTW, I am a little confused where you stand on this issue, one minute your scolding about our position & next well not sure how to take your comments??? You have a right to your own opinion and feelings, but for me to get on your band wagon you better smack down more than few lines. I assume you have a different outlook, experiences and so on...I would be very interested to hearing them. I have illustrated my experiences to show it wasn' t racial slurs or greed in any form.

I personally believe public discussion, venting is not only a good way to trade ideas, experiences & feelings, but a good way to ignite a group to move on issues (yes write letters, emails, phone there MP' s and so on). You know it is also a good way to deal with frustration and prevent hot tempers from boiling over. I would like to see a resolve that would not deter or hurt either parties involved. Equal rights have been missing from most of us hardworking citzens for years, we work hard to fight for others but do little to better ourselves..yep thats life and a sign of greedy society for sure(LOL). I do think we have become the roll over and die types, we can' t change it so why bother. All I want is for that mentality to change ever so slightly, not take it laying down but be able to show the ones who have no vested interest that we do matter and need to be considered (as do all the other groups that form this nation).
