Don't "not" add anthing based soley on my comments. I don't know how much venison you eat. If you will consume all of it by next season you should be fine. I personally don't eat a lot of burgers so I grind mine straight. Plenty of people add stuff and freeze it but I wouldn't let it go more then a year in the freezer.
