Not sure why, but as I laid in bed, thinking of our move to key largo, and how lucky I am to have everything I need, and alot of my wants. I felt it might be a good thing to do here, for either a GOOD charity or say one of the members who have lost their jobs, or are in need, sad I did not think of it early enough to help for xmas, but hey people need help every day of the year.

Thinking maybe a simple gift card of a outdoor store , or some of us can donate some gear we do not need. Either way we could have a raffle were who ever wanted could buy a ticket so to speak and at the end we draw for the winner and anything over the cost of the gift cert, any NEW gear put up would go to said charity or person(s).

What do you guys think, my thought was a few of us could run it and not take to much time. Of course there are some issues, like making sure every trust it is not a scam, and make sure it is all on the up and up.

Maybe a simple vote to see who collects the money, and gives out the prize?

I can see if we did gear for a package or packages, where for every item or small amount of value you donate you get a ticket?

If you guys want to give it a try I think it could help someone on here or a charity out.
I know of a few on here who could use the help.
I would say a member or say catch a dream.

LEt me know seems like a real good idea

Also a auction might work for gear, I doubt anyone would over pay for a gift card.
