it's a 4 petal on the blues that come with the TEZ
If it is a 4 petal I really believe it is a contracted HPH-24. The general public can not buy the blue sabot from MMP same as they can not buy the TC yellow HPH-3p-Ez load.
i don't know of anyone that can cram a hph -12 down the barrel of a T/C lol.
See I would agree with that one also but I know there are folks doing it, anyway they swear they are HPH-12's. Myself I would try it in any of my TC - but then I do not need to because the 24's work so well
Another thought... i would expect Barnes to hold a tighter diameter in an all copper bullet than does Speer in an electroplating process... The Barnes are probably right at .452 while the Speers could be .452 to .4525. It would not matter in a pistol.
There really is not much difference in a CR and a regular Harvester of the same size... The ribs just crush and form easier than do the solid sabots...
The last time I talked to Ron at Harvester he indicated to me the 40 cal Blue sabot and the 40 cal Blue CR were the same size - it is just easier to load the ribs than the solid.
