i shoot nothing under 295 gr POWERBELT in my hawkins .50 cal.flintlock.
that 250 is too light for me.
45 yrs hunting bucks and POWERBELT 295/348 is best bullet for type of deer hunting i do. under 100 yd shots and low charges,open sights, no recoil, less smoke/noise .

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS SET-UP AND NEVER LOST BUCK OR HAD TO TRAIL ONE WOUNDED.but i am anal about shooting behind shoulder and most shots are under 100 yds if not all.
