Tom, I have three of these barrels - I think - One of them is stainless and two of them are blued. All three of them are 15/16 and all three of them are in my Renegade stocks. I had one 1" barrel at one time time but the weight difference between to the two sizes was significant - I traded the 1" for a 15/16 and prefer packing it all around much better. There is not difference in their ability to shoot straight.
