Are you sure you're looking at the right page HEAD?

The GM replacement barrels for Hawkens and Renegades are blued. They come with front and rear sights and ramrods. The front sights are dovetailed and the rear sights are screwed with the same spacing as TC sights. There's also a tapped hole on the top of the breech plug (with a filler screw) for mounting a scope base using the rear sight screw holes and the breech plug hole. All of the ones I have dropped in just fine with the exception that I had to trim about 1/8" off the rear of the under rib on every one to clear the front of the stock, and file the top of the hook on one very slightly to get it to lay flat in the barrel channel.

They also made some in stainless. But I don't know if they still do that.
