I have one now and I think its great. It definitely picks up small branches and twigs but like blake frautschi said all rangefinders do. What I really like is that it is angle compensated as well. No wonder I have missed some shots before. My regular range finder was saying 37 yards and with the vendetta it was actually 30 angle compensated. I think this is great for bowhunting. We all know part of being a polished bowhunter is making ethical shots. This allows the bowhunter to make an eithical shot because you know the exact yardage. When a buck comes out of nowhere and is right below you don't have time to fumble around trying to range him with you rangefinder. When you can aim with your bow and hit the button with the vendetta and know the yardage you can make that ethical perfect hit on the deer.
