Matt found the fish in the above pics today..
We had fished the same waters..I was a miserable morning..very cold and a wet mist contiunually falling on us with no SUN all day..He said,"Let's fish the other side." I said,"That's a mud hole." I'd forgotten we had a gotten a ton of rain this past summer..It was grassy and about 30 inches deep.Prime habitat for crappie. We had had one fish in the wire bag..first stop..3 ..then Matt got this one.a personal best for him..


My personal best is 16 inches and 2 pounds..
