I had two bullets lined up that I wanted to try on deer. One being the 350gr FPB and the other the Barnes 250gr TEZ. Both gave me great accuracy on the range and had similar point of impact, out to 100 yards. After taking a deer with the TEZ, I then turned to the FPB's. I had a NEW package all ready to go. Figured I'd put a few on paper, just to check. Well I couldn't get a group better than 4" @ 50 yards. Early I'd been putting them through the same hole @ 50 yards. Not wanting to waste time, I continued with the TEZ, which I took another deer with in our muzzleloader season.
Turns out the NEW package was the issue. Before I'd pre-sized the FPB's by pushing them through my barrel.
TEZ - 100gr BH209 and FPb's - 90gr BH209, from my Triumph.
I'll pre-sizing and heading to the range, soon!
