I would also like to extend my review of Blackhorn 209.
I can't say enough on how impressed I am with this powder. I fought high winds, extreme cold, and lots of ice, rain, snow for the first week of gun season. I loaded my muzzy on the night before opener. It stayed that way for 7 days (never fired or cleaned).
On the 7th day it was fired at a deer. I still did not clean it for the next day because one more day of hunting was in front of me.
Without cleaning it for 2 more days I went and paper shot 3 rounds of Barnes Solid Copper. Then brought the gun home.
What a joy it was to see little fouling, and no rust. It was also a joy to have the breech plug come out with little effort.
Because of the excellent suggestions on how to clean BH here on this forum, I was able to clean my gun in 15 minutes. No water!
BH is my new love.
