This fall i' was blessed with an a good deer hunting season: Three does and six wild hogs have fallen to my muzzleloaders since 26 October. Ran out of folks to give hog meat to and have slacked off hunting them for a few days. The OK holiday doe season will last from 17-25 December. May take another doe then if i have someone to give it too.

One of the does was shot using my old CVA StagHorn and the 240 grain .430 XTP bullet: Bang flop. Two does were shot using the Encore and the 250 grain Shockwave bullet: One went about 45 yards after being hit and the other went less than 15 yards. All the hogs were killed using the Encore and the 250 grain Shockwave bullet. Three were bang flops; one went about 100 yards and two others went less than 25 yards after being hit.

All of my shots were at ranges of about 80 yards or less-sometimes much less.
