Those recommended are good solid guns. Weatherby Orions are Japanese manufacture, the same factory as SKB (quality manufacturing). Fausti is Spanish. Some models are basic okay guns. They made a shotgun for walmart for $500 to their custom models worth thousands of dollars. Spanish gun makers can range from hi-tech machined factories to mom & pop shops. For cheaper guns, there's Turkey gun makers. Some I would stay away from; others I wouldn't hesitate to own and shoot. For the price range you mentioned, you can get a variety of good solid guns. You won't get a perazzi, parker & hale but Win 101, Ruger, Stevens would be within your range.
