Default What does everyone think of the Hornady FPB Bullets???

So far I have been very impressed with them. I was shooting the 350gr. version and I put a hole in a bobcat bigger than the size of my fist, my son also shot a opossum dang near completly in half only thing holding it together was a little skin and part of the spine. The spine was all mangled up.

I am shooting it with 90gr of T7 and they group great! Also I have been able to get more shots between cleaning than I have with any bullet I have tried before, I guess it is the fact it has no plactic on them and don't leave the plastic residue in the barrel??

I have yet to shoot a deer with them though and I am wondering if anyone used them and with what success. I am pretty sure they will do the job just fine.

I am going to try the 300gr. bullets in about a week to see if I can get the same grouping as I do with the 350gr. for a little more speed and range. I have a Managed Muzzleloader Deer hunt right after X-Mas. I harvested a deer during firearms deer season with my rifle so I have to set out the Muzzleloader portion.
